Description
Boleybawn Gemma is a very pretty filly, extremely light on her feet and moves with sharp reflexes and a lot of blood. She is a sister to one of the Boleybawn yard favourites, Boleybawn Evie,
Her Sire, Castlefield Kingston, is a 6yo son of Cinsey that oozes class and brings a lot of positive traits to the gene pool. He is light on the ground, has great respect for the jump, a powerful and open hind end when jumping. Castlefield Kingston is very trainable, like his father, he brings blood but also a cool mind and he is from a good family.
Her dam, Emma van de wolfsgracht, was a very good jumper herself. She was a winner at 1.35 level but had a lot more to give when she got injured and had to retire to the breeding paddocks. Her first produce at Boleybawn is Boleybawn Evie who has qualified for the RDS 5yo Championships this year and was one of only 4 from 100 competitors to keep a clean sheet in the 5yo Horse Sport Ireland class at Mullingar. Emma from a good damline, she is a sister to Babette that was successful at 1.40m and has several other good jumpers in her family. Interestingly Emma is line bred 2 by 3 to Landgraf, she is by Mermus who is by Burgraf, who was by Langraf and Emma’s dam is by Latano who was by Landgraf.
